  • EWS/OBC-NCL: ₹600

Eligibility Criteria : 

1. Educational Qualification:

  • Candidates must have a Master’s degree or equivalent with at least 55% marks (for General category) or 50% marks (for Reserved categories).

  • Final-year students can also apply.


2. Age Limit :

  • JRF: Maximum age is 30 years (age relaxation for reserved categories)

  • Assistant Professor: No age limit.


UGC NET December 2024 Exam Pattern :

The UGC NET exam will consist of two papers:


  • Paper 1: Tests teaching and research aptitude.
      • Total Questions: 50
      • Total Marks: 100


  • Paper 2: Subject-specific questions based on the candidate’s chosen subject.
      • Total Questions: 100
      • Total Marks: 200
      • Duration: 3 hours


  • Mode: Computer-Based Test (CBT )
